Brian brings 25+ years of health care experience, including a decade as a hospital CEO. His leadership spans operations, financial stewardship, culture transformation, and strategic growth. He has guided organizations through financial headwinds, technology upgrades, workforce challenges, and evolving population health needs—always prioritizing patients and integrity to anchor a strong partnership with physicians, caregivers, and community leaders. He is recognized for transparent leadership, unifying teams around mission, and building collaborative, accountable cultures.

Brian’s experience includes launching new services and green-field hospitals in fast-growing highly competitive suburban markets. He restored profitability at a legacy mid-market hospital—achieving its best financial results in over a decade and earning a Healthgrades 5-star rating. He has also led in resource-scarce rural settings, where his team achieved record volumes and received cardiac quality recognition.

Leading during the Covid-19 pandemic reinforced for Brian the fragility of the health care system and the strain on caregivers. He strengthened workforce well-being by expanding mental-health support, equipping leaders with new tools and training, and promoting emotional-intelligence resources. These efforts improved retention, eased union negotiations, and earned AHA Gold recognition for workforce well-being.

Brian holds a BBA in Management from Southern Adventist University and an MBA from the University of Central Florida. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a lifelong learner.

He enjoys fly-fishing, mountain biking, aviation, and exploring the Pacific Northwest and beyond with his wife and two daughters.
