Ron is a seasoned senior healthcare executive with over 30 years of experience in healthcare operations, finance, strategic planning, clinical service line development, managed care, and revenue cycle management. He has held key leadership roles—including Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer—across diverse healthcare markets in California, Ohio, Tennessee, Florida, Maryland, Oregon, and Washington.

Ron is widely recognized for his ability to lead transformative change. He has successfully guided five major financial turnarounds, securing long-term sustainability and reinforcing the mission of the organizations he has served. Over the past 15 years, 14 of the healthcare systems under his financial leadership achieved year-over-year improvement in financial performance—a testament to his focus on strategic stewardship and mission-driven decision-making.

Known as a passionate advocate for quality care and patient service, Ron is deeply relationship-oriented and especially valued for his work with medical staff and leadership teams. A gifted communicator, he frequently uses storytelling to reinforce the connection between financial discipline and organizational mission. He also enjoys mentoring and teaching, with a strong emphasis on building business and service line capabilities within healthcare teams.

Ron holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Pacific Union College and an MBA in Finance from California State University, San Bernardino. He is a Fellow of both the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA). A strong advocate of LEAN methodologies, Ron has led numerous initiatives aimed at enhancing the patient experience and operational efficiency.

His commitment to service extends beyond the boardroom. Ron is a dedicated volunteer and co-founder of Africa Orphan Care. He has also served in leadership roles with Adventist Health International, the American Cancer Society, and other organizations supporting vulnerable populations.

Outside of work, Ron lives in Spokane, Washington with his wife, Joyce. He is an avid mountain climber, world traveler, and outdoor enthusiast. He also loves spending time with his grandchildren, playing the cello, and exploring new cultures through international travel.
