Dr. Susan Pastor is Certified in Executive Nursing Practice with 36 years of healthcare experience including 20+ years in Chief Nursing/Operating Executive roles. She has led adult and pediatric operations in various healthcare facilities, such as academic, for-profit, not-for-profit, faith-based, and community healthcare organizations. 

Susan graduated from John Carroll University and earned a doctoral degree in nursing from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She is a Johnson & Johnson Wharton Fellow in Management for Nurse Executives and an alumna of the Disney Institute: Disney Approach to Quality Service. She is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership.

Professionally recognized for improving patient satisfaction, nurse retention, employee engagement, and operational finances, Susan focuses on relationship building, active leadership participation, team development, and collaboration with front line care providers while artfully navigating change.

Susan is a high energy, results oriented, transformational leader who is dedicated to enhancing patient care quality and safety. She collaborates with clinicians to achieve sustainable improvements in operations that positively impact the financial health of organizations.

A native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Susan spends her time with her family, bike riding, exploring nature, antiquing, and volunteering with equine assisted activities and therapies. She eagerly shares her coaching, mentoring, operational, and leadership expertise with healthcare professionals.
